Resistance Training relieves fatigue

Prior research has demonstrated the benefits of exercise on MS-related fatigue.

In a recent study conducted in Sweden, researchers explored the effect of three-month high-intensity resistance training among MS patients experiencing fatigue.

Participants took part in either once-weekly or twice-weekly sessions for 12 weeks.

Results indicated that both exercise programs induced clinically meaningful reductions in fatigue levels.

In addition, the interventions were found to decrease a sense of anxiety and depression and improve the Quality of life related to health.
