Early Treatment Reduces Need for Disability Pension

In a study conducted in Denmark, researchers examined the connection between the onset of disease-modifying therapies (DMT) and the need for a disability pension.

Data from more than 5200 relapsing-remitting MS patients was analyzed.

Results indicated that the risk of requiring a disability pension significantly increased among patients who started treatment later.
